Digital signage, double digit multiplication and marketing digital are some of the fastest-growing segments of the US advertising market.
That’s according to a report from research firm Gartner.
Gartner, a market intelligence firm, said digital advertising grew by 4.4% in the second quarter of 2017.
That was the fastest growth rate in the past decade.
The growth in digital advertising is a sign that the technology-driven digital advertising boom is on the verge of plateauing, said Ben Zaman, a research analyst at Gartners.
That, in turn, will likely mean that digital advertising revenue will fall in the coming years, Zaman said.
Growth is expected to slow further this year as people start to pay for content, Zhaman said.
Garters forecasts the advertising market to grow by 7% in 2021 and 9% in 2022.
